Introduction

Welcome to the website of American Pacific Borate & Lithium Ltd (ABR). ABR’s Fort Cady Project in California hosts a multi-generational borate resource where boric acid, gypsum, potassium sulfate and potentially lithium will be produced for the large North American specialty fertiliser market and new high end technologies like electric vehicles (boric acid and lithium) and space shuttles (borates).

ABR has completed a Boric Acid Scoping Study that has exceptional metrics including:

  • Unlevered post tax IRR of 41.1% with NPV10 of US$747m;
  • 25 year mine life using 68% Indicated and 32% Inferred Resources;
  • Low capex: Phase one capex only US$98m to produce 82k tonnes of boric acid and 18k tonnes of SOP pa. Phase two funded predominantly from cash flow and increases production to 246k tonnes of boric acid and 54k tonnes of SOP pa; and
  • High operating margins.

Our value proposition can be summarised as:

  1. Low capex;
  2. High margin;
  3. Low technical risk; and
  4. EBITDA profile in full production of over US$150m per annum.
